Solara Circle Gatherings (Maile’s community fellowship)

Anyone who values life, people, and creativity can be part of The Solara Circle. We are a community who appreciate the need to keep inspiration and wonder an everyday part of our lives, and who strive to be life-long learners and challenge ourselves spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and creatively to live inspired, and help others do the same. We each have a light within us that, if nurtured, can grow, and as a collective circle we can radiate inspiration and light into the darkness of the world. You can join, contribute, and get inspired with this community on the Facebook Solara Circle group and by attending an event. Life is short, so let’s live it inspired together!

“Live BRIGHT!”

Meet, create, fellowship, and play with Maile throughout the year at personally-hosted and community-run festivals and events throughout the PNW. She will do open invites for her gatherings on her Facebook page and The Solara Circle group. A calendar of her community events can be found here on her home page and in her monthly mailing list (link coming soon). She looks forward to growing her friendship with you and building a thriving community.

Sign-ups start at 6:30pm and performances start at 7pm and run to no later than 9pm to allow room for the music jam that follows until 10:30pm. They offer a keyboard, electronic drum kit, three microphones, and two music stands, and accommodate comedians, poets, singers, musicians, and actors. This positive, encouraging, talented, and fun community is growing! We’d love for you to join us! Visit the Zulu’s Lynnwood website or stop by the store for a current schedule and for the Code of Conduct.

The Solara Guild (Writers, Crafters, Illustrators)

A group of creators (and a branch of Solara Circle) who meet to support one another’s artistic endeavors. Work on your project, share excerpts of your work, brainstorm, test ideas, get feedback, encourage and be encouraged, make connections, grow your craft, and collaborate. We meet at Zulu’s Board Game Cafe in Lynnwood from 3:30-5:30 pm every other Monday before the open mic. We will begin with a short time for introductions, goal setting, sharing, and optional prompts before our open creation time. We ask everyone to bring their own materials and to ensure their medium does not cause an odor or noise that will interrupt others while they work. We look forward to meeting you and seeing what you’ve been creating! Let’s pursue our passions together! See below for Code of Conduct.

Rox Worship

“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

A group of Jesus Lovers from the PNW who hope to encourage and unify people in Christ through music. We meet March-September once a month at 1pm on Sundays outside the Edmonds Waterfront Center for a worship jam and drum circle, and once a year for Christmas caroling. Visit the Rox Worship Facebook page for more details, and current events. See below for the Code of Conduct.
