Maile began drawing as soon as she could manipulate a pencil, and at fifteen was realistically rendering humans and objects. In 2011 she graduated with a creative marketing major where she refined her photography and digital design skills. She enjoys surreal figurative and natural subjects, and is currently exploring the mediums of watercolor, pen and ink and collage in her illustrations for her books.
